The Mynxx family, our friends in Texas, suffered a great loss yesterday, when 16-year-old Sarah was killed in a car accident. Thankfully, she knew the Lord Jesus, so her eternity is secure. She served Him well, also. She was a sweet girl, and will be greatly missed at Calvary Chapel Garland. Say a prayer for the comfort of her family as you read this, if you will.

Job search update
Heard from the place that was on the top of my list. They will be pursuing someone else. RATS.... Second on the list is making calls to my references. That is always a good sign. Going for an interview this afternoon at a place that has a reputation as a sweatshop. At least it did 5 years ago. A friend has a referral in for me at his place. unfortunately in his words,.. "they have the slows" New lead today at a place offering a pretty ridiculous salary. You what they say about things that seem to be too good to be true. Onward...
